A brutal and insightful drama exploring loyalty, power and betrayal among young schoolchildren, and how changing allegiances affect them. An accomplished debut feature from Belgian director Laura Wendel with some excellent cinematography including hand-held camerawork at the children’s eye level, and some brilliant naturalistic acting from the young cast.
